I have worked with a number of tourist boards planning, commissioning, writing and editing commercial projects, including advertorials and other promotions. I have worked with a number of tourist boards on destination guides for ABTA Magazine, including Tokyo, Miyagi and Sapporo in Japan; Marbella and Murcia in Spain, as well the Spanish Tourist Office; the Maldives; Singapore and Greece. This also includes working with designers and developers to create visuals.
ABTA Magazine was previously a bi-monthly print publication but, during the coronavirus pandemic, the decision was made to move towards a monthly digital version. I devised and directed the creation of a new custom-built interactive format for the magazine, which the ABTA Magazine Guide series are also produced in.
