I am a writer, editor, publisher and communications expert based in Lewes, England. I have experience shaping editorial direction and content strategy; editing, commissioning, sub-editing and proofreading; writing news, comment and features; and commercial copywriting.

I co-founded Waterfront, an independent publishing house, and was director until December 2021. At the company, I oversaw all editorial processes – from the conception of the publications through to the execution of them – managing design and all visuals, editorial voice, style guides and content for each title. Waterfront has produced magazines for ABTA, the travel association; Travelzoo; and Advantage Travel Partnership. Waterfront magazines have won numerous awards, including Trade Publication of the Year for ABTA Magazine at the 2019 Travel Media Awards.

I have worked for national media including The Independent, NME, the Press Association, ShortList and The Sunday Times. I primarily cover travel, sustainability, climate, music, politics and culture.
